The Florence Police Department confirmed all is clear after a threat at Phil Campbell High School.
“We would like to thank Florence Police Department’s bomb squad unit for their quick response time this morning,” police stated. “They were able to clear the school and help insure the safety of everyone there. We also appreciate FCSO for their quick response and hard work as well.”
The school was evacuated on Wednesday morning after receiving a recorded phone threat on Tuesday evening.
While many students were checked out of school, classes resumed for those who wished to return.
"Law enforcement investigators are already working hard to track down the threat," the school stated. "We take this kind of issue very seriously and hope to see whoever caused this disruption to our school held
