In Loving Memory: Richard D. Baker of Falmouth, MA passed unexpectedly on August 27, 2025 at Falmouth Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was 74.

Born in Newport, RI, he was a gifted musician who played guitar and loved music throughout his life. His sense of humor was also noteworthy. In the army, he served as a proud member of the 7th Calvary regiment bagpipe and drum band at Ledward Barracks in Schweinfurt, West Germany. Richard was a dining service manager at Boston College for 20 years. After retiring, he moved to Falmouth and made deliveries for Mahoney’s Garden Center.
