MANCHESTER, N.H. —
A new poll shows U.S. Rep. Chris Pappas leading in the race for U.S. Senate.
The Saint Anselm College Survey Center polled close to 1,800 registered New Hampshire voters ahead of the Labor Day holiday.
The race is in its early stages, with candidates still vying for their party nominations. In a matchup between Pappas as the Democratic nominee and former U.S. Sen. Scott Brown as the Republican nominee, Pappas leads 48% to 37%, with 15% undecided.
In a head-to-head match between Pappas and state Sen. Dan Innis, Pappas leads 48% to 30%, with 22% undecided.

The poll has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 2.3%.
