Superman is flying back into theaters in 2027.

DC Studios co-lead James Gunn shared the first teaser picture of the sequel to 2025's "Superman," which includes Supe alongside a returning foe in Lex Luthor.

The sequel will be titled "Man of Tomorrow" with a release date set for July 9, 2027. David Corenswet (Superman) and Nicholas Hoult (Luthor) will reprise their roles.

In the comic picture posted by Gunn, Luthor is donning a purple and green Warsuit, hinting at the continuing rivalry between the long-times foes. Superman, meanwhile, is holding a screwdriver and leaning against Luthor.
