KENNETT, Mo. (KFVS) - A community will gather on Wednesday evening for a meeting to discuss what members of one group are calling a “housing crisis.”
After the Kennett city council passed a new ordinance for rental properties in August, advocates say more than 150 families face eviction in the coming weeks.
The tenant union meeting will bring together community leaders, advocates and real estate lawyers to address concerns.
