MONROE, La. (KNOE) - The Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office has made additional arrests following a Labor Day shooting in Swartz.

OPSO says they responded to reports of gunfire at at Double K Estates and Magnolia Drive on Monday, Sept. 1. They say the incident led to a shooting on Hwy. 139 at Bayou Oaks in Swartz, where one individual was hurt and is in critical condition.

On Tuesday, two 17-year-olds were arrested and charged with one count each of aggravated assault with a firearm.

OPSO says four additional people were arrested in connection with the shooting on Wednesday.
