HOLLADAY — A juvenile was taken to the hospital Tuesday night after being hit by a car while riding a dirt bike in Holladay, police said.

Sgt. Aymee Race with the Unified Police Department said they got the call at approximately 9:18 p.m., and the accident happened at Highland Drive and Meadowmoor Road.

Race said a car and dirt bike were driving north, when the car turned left and hit the dirt bike.

The juvenile was taken to the hospital, but their condition was not immediately known, Race said.

The driver of the car was reportedly cited on scene.
