SALT LAKE CITY – Despite a disappointing close to their Group Play schedule, Lauri Markkanen and Team Finland advanced to the Tournament Stage.

Finland concluded Group Play on Wednesday with an ugly 91-61 loss to Germany.

With the loss, the host country dropped to 3-2 at EuroBasket.

Finland Advances To Tournament Play At EuroBasket

After a hot start at EuroBasket, Markkanen had two difficult performances to wrap up Group Play for Finland.

The Utah Jazz All-Star scored 19 points on 6-17 shooting in Monday’s 91-88 loss to Lithuania, before managing just 11 points on 4-15 shooting against Germany.
