ATLANTIC CITY — The owner of a beach bar embroiled in a long-running battle with the residents of a nearby condominium complex has asked a state agency to delay its latest hearing on the matter as the bar considers moving elsewhere on the beach.
The Casino Reinvestment Development Authority said Wednesday it has postponed a hearing that had been scheduled for Thursday regarding the former Chelsea Beach Bar, which has since adopted different names including Cocorico and the Goldfish Beach Club.
The business has been seeking approval for changes that had been made to the property.
But it is now looking for a different spot on the beach to operate, the agency said.
