The Breeze Airways jet that was struck by a newly delivered 787 on July 22 is still undergoing repairs at Charleston International Airport .

As of late last week, the plane was still on the ground cooling its jets, minus the damaged vertical stabilizer, which includes the rudder and other critical components. Maintenance teams are working to repair the jet, and Breeze hopes to have the work will be completed around mid-September, according to a spokesperson.
