A movie adaptation of Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights will be served to fans of the diabolically sorrowful novel this Valentine’s Day.

Emerald Fennell, who helmed the highly praised Promising Young Woman and Saltburn , will direct the retelling of the 1847 love story, starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi . The film’s trailer features Robbie as Cathy and Elordi as Heathcliff as the pair are captured amid brooding stares, fingers inserted in mouths, and heaving chests while Charli XCX ‘s Brat track “Everything Is Romantic” pulsates in the background.

Charli posted the clip on X and teased that along with “Everything Is Romantic,” the film will feature “new original songs by me for Emerald Fennell’s ‘Wuthering Heights.'” The singer ended her note by wishing everyone
