VANCOUVER, Wash. (KPTV) - Clark County Public Works is looking for volunteers to help with a mural project near Salmon Creek Regional Park during the first two weekends of September.
The mural featuring salmon and a watershed pollution prevention theme will be painted on a retaining wall on the north side of Northeast 117th Street, just west of Northeast Highway 99.
The county says volunteers are needed for tasks such as managing painting supplies and wastewater, setting up and cleaning the project area, and providing support to artists including drinking water, tools, and supplies.
Shifts are around three to four hours long, starting at 7:30 a.m. each day on Sept. 6, 7, 13 and 14.
