RAWLINS -- The stands were filled with orange on Aug. 29 as the Rawlins community honored Frank Arce on his transplant day in support of his fight against leukemia.

The Outlaws football players and coaches tied orange ribbons to their attire in their season-opening matchup against the Burns Broncs. It was Cody Hooker's debut as head coach as the football season kicked off.

It was a tough showing for the Outlaws in their 48-8 loss to the Broncs despite a late touchdown.

Burns got the scoring going in less than two minutes of play. Quarterback Bryce Hansen threw to Parker Ochsner who broke tackle after tackle enroute to the end zone for the Broncs' first score of the year. Ochsner then kicked the extra point to give his team the early 7-0 lead.
