Mayor Bowser announces pay raise and new hiring incentives for DC police amid Trump takeover

D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser announced a new collective bargaining agreement with the D.C. Fraternal Order of Police Union, which includes a 13% pay increase for officers, sergeants, lieutenants and above beginning Oct. 1.
