A toddler had the most adorable reaction when he heard his mother’s voice for the first time.

Eighteen-month-old Colton Stapelberg, who has struggled with hearing problems since birth, was fitted with hearing aids at the Ear Institute in Queenswood, South Africa. His mother, Yolandie, witnessed the life-changing moment.

“I'm forever grateful to them,” said Yolandie. “He hears the gas kettle whistle for the first time; he hears Grandma’s phot ringing — then he shows us!”
