Fashion designer Giorgio Armani had an illustrious career before his September 2025 death at the age of 91, and he left the business to his family.

Nearly eight years before Armani’s death, he wasn’t thinking about a successor.

“I would say I’m working more,” Armani, then 83, told The Telegraph in a 2017 profile.

Us Weekly confirmed on September 4, 2025, that Armani died after an undisclosed illness.
