ATLANTA, Ga. - A new trial date has been set for the father of the accused Apalachee High School shooter.
Colin Gray’s trial will now begin on Feb. 9, 2026, according to a Tuesday court order. The trial was initially scheduled for Sept. 8, but it was postponed due to scheduling conflicts.
Also new this week, a motion by the father of the suspected Apalachee High School shooter has been denied, according to court documents.
Colin Gray had filed multiple motions to suppress evidence in July. Gray allegedly gave statements to the GBI on Sept. 4, 2024, but claimed the statements “were not freely or voluntarily given.”
