HOUSTON — Still fuming after his post-game shower, Yankees second baseman Jazz Chisholm didn’t hold back in trashing the umpiring in the last two innings of Wednesday night’s 8-7 loss to the Astros .

He yelled at plate umpire Brian Walsh on the field after striking out to end the game on a bad call, then blasted him in a short interview with NJ Advance Media.

“When you’ve got umpires that want to be the players, that’s what happens,” Chisholm said. “When they don’t have no repercussions for what they do, that’s what happens.”

In the Astros’ eighth, three pitches by Yankees reliever Devin Williams were obvious strikes but called balls. The missed calls might have been the difference between getting out of the inning 4-4 instead of falling behind 8-4.
