SHATTUCK, Okla. (KFOR) — Deputies with the Ellis County Sheriff's Office were involved in a shooting that left one person dead late Wednesday night in Shattuck.
According to authorities, just after 11 p.m. Wednesday, deputies responded to a domestic disturbance call at a home near South Olive Street and East Fifth Street.
When deputies arrived at the home, they approached 54-year-old Anthony David Edgmon, who then pointed his gun and began firing at deputies. He was shot and pronounced dead at the scene.
No deputies were injured during the shooting, according to Ellis County Sheriff officials.
