If a trip to Vegas isn’t in the cards, the odds of having an epic time at two New England casinos are pretty high, according to USA Today readers.

The publication released a list of the 10 best casinos that aren’t in Las Vegas on Wednesday, part of its 2025 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards , and two Connecticut casinos ranked high: Mohegan Sun in Uncasville ranked No. 2 and Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket ranked No. 3.

The U.S. has more than 1,000 casinos, wrote USA Today , and the ones on the best-of list stand out for their “expansive gaming options and stellar guest experiences.”

Mohegan Sun features two casinos: Casino of the Earth and Casino of the Sky. The spot also offers traditional Asian table games like sic bo, pai gow, and mini baccarat, wrote USA Today
