After President Donald Trump announced plans to relocate U.S. Space Command’s headquarters from Colorado Springs to Alabama, members of the Centennial State’s congressional delegation swiftly denounced the decision — including its Republicans.
A joint statement from Colorado Senators John Hickenlooper and Michael Bennet along with the eight U.S. House members from Colorado stated, “Colorado Springs is the appropriate home for U.S. Space Command, and we will take the necessary action to keep it there.”
