Sarah Michelle Gellar is celebrating the '90s resurgence with a new eBay collaboration.

Sarah Michelle Gellar has plenty of souvenirs from the '90s.

The actress, still a salient symbol of the decade for many, headed up the era's quasi-"Brat Pack" alongside other rising talents like Jennifer Love-Hewitt and now-husband Freddie Prinze Jr.

After starring helming the WB's "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" for seven seasons, and cementing her horror prowess in cult classic films like "Scream" and "I Know What You Did Last Summer," Gellar isn't afraid of a little nostalgia. She made a cameo in 2025's "IKWYDLS" remake, and has plans to return for a "Buffy" reboot. She's also teaming up with eBay for the '95 shop, a personally curated pop-up with throwback items up for auction at a brick-and-mortar location in New York and online storefront.

For her, the '90s resurgence is equal parts thrilling and cringeworthy.

"This whole choker thing that's coming back is killing me, because chokers just make your neck look shorter and like no one looks good with a shorter neck," she tells USA TODAY. It doesn't help that most of them are dark and "so obvious," she adds.

Other trends, however, are worthy of a green light.

"Very happy to have little dresses and combat boots come back, T-shirts and dresses, here for it all, I just want to leave the chokers in the '90s," she quips. Her partnership with eBay comes in part from knowing what it's like to toss something that later becomes valuable.

"There are things that you don't know you're going to want to keep," Gellar, 48, says. "And 20 years, 30 years (later) you're like, 'Wow I wish I kept that,' or 'I didn't even know that was going to be of importance.'"

The actress cited the tiara from "I Know What You Did Last Summer" as an example, explaining that that filmmakers couldn't find it when she returned for the 2025 remake. Turns out it was being auctioned somewhere, she reveals. EBay is also helping her track down a pair of rare Buffy dolls that caught her eye.

As for the things that she remembered to keep hold of, a collection of Fendi Baguette bags, now all the rage again, tops the list.

"My daughter and I have different taste in handbags and the only handbags that I've really kept that she always wants are my Fendi Baguettes," Gellar says. "I think it's so funny that they're having this huge resurgence now." The actress shares two children with Prinze: Charlotte, 15, and Rocky, 12.

Charlotte also has her eye on some designer shoes that made it out the '90s, Gellar revealed.

"I have a full collection of my Murakami Vuittons," she said, referencing a collaboration between Louis Vuitton and Takashi Murakami. "They're the original ones and now they're reissuing those collections, but I have all the original ones. … She definitely has borrowed a few of the Murakamis. The Baguettes, mine are like so sequined, she has to earn those a little bit more."
