It's just starting to feel like fall, but Halloween events will come around before you know it!

The Essex Steam Train & Riverboat announced a new Halloween event called "Tracks of Terror" that will take place this October.

During the event, people will board a train for a "chilling journey" through the Connecticut River Valley.

But they say the frights will begin even before you board.

The event starts off with a spooky short film, followed by a brief maze that guides you to the train. Once on board, the train leaves the station for a 50-minute trip.

The event is being spearheaded by Andrew Gernhard of Synthetic Cinemas, who's working with Phil Gauvin from IGB Effects.
