CAITLIN Clark has been sidelined for nearly two months, but there is optimism that she can make a return soon.
The Indiana Fever superstar hasn't played since July 15, missing 19 games in a row in the process.
Clark has missed 27 of the Fever's 40 games this season.
She hadn't missed a single game during her college career and rookie WNBA season.
Before the injury, Clark was averaging 16.5 points, 8.8 assists, and 5.0 rebounds per game.
According to Fever head coach Stephanie White, Clark still hasn't practiced in contact situations.
She has participated in 5-on-0 drills with the second team though.
With just three games left in the regular season, Clark has limited time to return to the roster before she starts risking missing playoff games.
However, White is hopeful that Cla
