FM 1960 shut down, bomb squad en route after suspicious pipe found in stolen vehicle

HOUSTON – The Harris County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office said both east and westbound lanes of FM 1960 are closed at the Tomball Parkway after a suspicious pipe was found inside a stolen vehicle.

The constable’s office said the discovery came after a traffic stop at the location and there is a heavy law enforcement presence.

The Harris County Bomb Squad has been notified and is en route to the scene.

FM 1960 is shut down in both directions as emergency crews respond to the scene.
