The UTEP community celebrates the start of a new semester with Minerpalooza on Saturday, Sept. 6. The event will be open to the public and feature a band battle, kids section and food trucks.

Alejandro Fernández returns to El Paso Sunday, Sept. 7, with his new tour De Rey a Rey, a tribute to the music of his late father, the legendary Vicente Fernández and his classic rancheras.

Dog owners may want to head over to Ascarate Park pool with their pups for a brand-new event, Dog Swim Season, kicking off Saturday, Sept. 6. The event is designed to provide dogs and their owners with a fun opportunity to enjoy the pool together. The celebration will include a cutest outfit contest and a dog paddle competition.
