Yosemite National Park has had one its busiest summer seasons on record.
The national park announced Thursday that it has had over 2.9 million visitors through the first eight months of the year.
The big picture: Yosemite has experienced a seven percent increase compared to the first eight months of last year, which totaled $2.73 million visitors in that period. • Every month except for February has outpaced the 2024 monthly numbers. February’s visitor numbers were down because winter storms limited access.
