GROVE CITY, Pa. - A winning Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball ticket worth $100,000 was sold at a Giant Eagle in Slippery Rock Boro, just outside of Grove City, state lottery officials announced Thursday.
The ticket was one of nine across the state to win a $100,000 prize in Wednesday's drawing. The winning ticket was purchased at the Giant Eagle located at 223 Grove City Road. The retailer will receive a $500 bonus for selling the ticket.
The $100,000 winning ticket matched four of the five white balls drawn and the red Powerball. The player had opted for the $1 Power Play option, which doubled the prize from its base value of $50,000. The winning numbers were 3-16-29-61-69 and the Powerball was 22.
