The Proteas have announced their 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup beginning from 30 September in India and Sri Lanka.

Laura Wolvaardt will head the unit with Sune Luus, Marizanne Kapp, Nonkululeko Mlaba, Chloe Tryon and Tazmin Brits forming the core of the squad, with their wealth of experience.

Former skipper Dane van Niekerk, who recently reversed her retirement , misses out on a spot in the final squad.
