Two days after seeing their totally renovated men’s and women’s locker rooms and training center at Zable Stadium for the first time, William & Mary’s cross country teams continued their historic week with an auspicious start at the Aug. 30 Spider Alumni Open at Pole Green Park in Mechanicsville, hosted by the University of Richmond.
Despite only using the meet as an early season tune-up, the W&M men and women both placed second overall, behind only nationally-ranked Virginia.
