Metro-area students are speaking up after last week’s mass shooting at Annunciation Catholic Church. WCCO TV reports “students in the Twin Cities are set to stage walkouts, demanding state and federal lawmakers pass bans on assault weapons and high-capacity magazines.” The walkouts started at noon and are planned in cities like Eagan, Hopkins, Stillwater and more. Related events are planned later in the afternoon at the Capitol.
