VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A total of nine people were arrested during an early morning narcotics operation at a hotel in Visalia.

Around 7:30 a.m. Friday, law enforcement arrived at Sequoia Lodge on 1400 South Mooney Boulevard.

There, officers served two narcotics-related search warrants and carried out a probation search throughout the complex.

Police arrested nine people on various drug charges, including: • 63-year-old Louie Rodriguez, for possession of narcotics for sale and maintaining a drug house • 20-year-old Jael Castillo, for possession of narcotics for sale and probation violation • 48-year-old Michael McKnight, for resisting arrest, possession of narcotic paraphernalia, and probation violation • 38-year-old Kayla Nichols, for resisting arrest and outstanding warr
