A 55-year-old motorcyclist died Friday following a crash along East Thunderbird Road, police said.

Jeffrey Olivera was riding his motorcycle east on Thunderbird Road about 11:30 a.m. Sept. 5 when a Jeep made a left turn from 64th Street in front of him. The 33-year-old woman driver stayed at the scene and showed no signs of impairment, according to a Phoenix Police Department release.

Olivera was taken to a hospital where he died, police said.
