Honolulu police have opened an attempted murder case after a 39-year-old was stabbed in Kapolei early this morning.
At about 1:30 a.m., patrol officers responded to report of a stabbing at Manawai Street and Kapolei Parkway and found the victim slumped over and bleeding with multiple stab wounds, according to a Honolulu Police Department summary of the incident.
Honolulu Emergency Medical Services said paramedics treated the man and took him to a hospital in critical condition.
No arrests have been made as of this morning, police said.
