A man was killed in a shooting Saturday morning in East Garfield Park on the West Side.

The man, whose age wasn't known, was in the 3000 block of West Polk Street around 10:13 a.m. when someone opened fire, Chicago police said.

The man suffered multiple gunshot wounds on the body and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

No arrests were made.
