SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) -- Syracuse Police were waved down to help a 63-year-old man with a stab wound to the arm near Westside.

According to a release from the Syracuse Police Department, officers found the man in the 400 block of Tully Street at 5:57 a.m. on Sept. 6. They believe the stabbing to have happened at the James Geddes Housing Complex.

The man was sent to Upstate University Hospital, where he is expected to survive.
