AUSTIN (KXAN) — Any win is a good win, but the Texas Longhorns need to clean up their act if they want to be playing football in January.

Texas overcame a clunky start with a 38-7 win over San Jose State on Saturday at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium, but as Roger Wallace and LeVon Whittaker discuss in the video above, they need to hone in on the details in the future.

Texas was flagged 12 times for 115 yards, and a lot of those flags wiped out big plays throughout the game. The Longhorns were 2-for-12 on third down, and they didn't have a touchdown from a running back for the second consecutive game.
