GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Wisconsin Air National Guard will be adding some extra punch to Sunday's opening game between the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions.
The 128th Air Refueling Wing is set to perform a low-level flyover of Lambeau Field before kickoff.
Green Bay is looking to avenge their struggles against Detroit. The Lions swept Green Bay in a season series last year.
This is the first time Green Bay will be facing Detroit in a season opener since the 2005 season. The Packers lost that game 17-3, and the last time Green Bay played Detroit in a home opener was 2001. The Packers won that matchup 28-6.
