That is not a typo. With Roman Antony gone and Jarren Duran’s contributions from the leadoff spot dipping to questionable at best, Masataka Yoshida will play his first MLB game as a leadoff hitter tonight.

After last night’s whatever you want to call it, I’m not against shaking things up! This lineup distracts me from the fear I feel during every Lucas Giolito start, as I fear it’ll be the one where everything finally falls apart. BUT, I don’t want to be a negative Nancy on a beautiful college football and baseball-filled Saturday, so here’s to Masa showing off his immaculate running form at the top of the lineup. And thank goodness we don’t have to watch this Arizona offense against another lefty.
