Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End is easily one of the biggest stories in modern anime; with its gorgeous visuals and music, and how well they complement a mature story about loss and human connections, Frieren became an instant hit with fans and critics worldwide, and that’s unlikely to change anytime soon.

Frieren is most famous for its worldbuilding and character writing, but it still has plenty of action, whether it’s when the heroes are fighting demons or fighting amongst themselves. That’s especially easy to see when most of the major characters are explicitly among the strongest characters in the setting, and the strongest of them all are plenty worth highlighting.
