UCF ‘s football game against North Carolina A&T was delayed by at least an hour due to weather conditions.
Originally set to kick off at 7 p.m., officials were forced to push back the start of the game due to storms in the area.
“Inclement weather, including lightning, remains in the area. The game will not begin before 8:00 pm,” UCF officials shared on social media at 5:45 p.m. Rain pelted Acrisure Bounce House Stadium two hours before the scheduled 7 p.m. kickoff. The impending weather forced the team to cancel the Knight Walk.
This marked the second consecutive game for the Knights to experience a weather delay, as their season opener against Jacksonville State had a two-hour delay due to nearby lightning. The game kicked off on time, but with 10:45 left in the second quarter, off
