YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - Youngstown State redshirt sophomore Beau Brungard set the program and conference quarterback rushing records during a blowout 56-17 win over Robert Morris on Saturday at Stambaugh Stadium.
Brungard rushed for 265 yards on just 10 attempts while running in four touchdowns. He also completed 12-of-16 passes for 122 yards and another score through the air.
The New Middletown native also set the record for most rushing yards by a QB in Missouri Valley Football Conference history.
He wasn't the only local product finding the end zone for YSU either; former Niles star Antuan Gardner and Farrell product Kylon Wilson each scored their first career touchdowns with the program.
Gardner, former WKBN Big 22 Player of the Year, muscled his way in from two yards out in the
