After spending the last three seasons with the team, Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Cade Otton could audition for a new roster this upcoming 2025 campaign. Earlier reports stated that Otton is hoping for a new deal, but as the Buccaneers prepare for their Week 1 matchup, and there hasn't been any discussion on a new deal, it looks like the tight end will play out his rookie contract. Originally selected in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, the former Washington product is joining top 2026 free agent, Kyle Pitts, as one of the top pass-catching options in their departments. It's hard to tell what the future holds for Otton, but since the Buccaneers had no type of discussion with Otton, the team might be moving in the right direction.
