FLINT, MI- Engines roared as countless bikers descended on downtown Flint Saturday for the 18th annual Bikes on the Bricks.
The popular event that includes a police motorcycle course practice and competition, bike show and police escorted ride began on Friday, Sept. 5 and runs through Sunday, Sept. 7.
The idea emerged in 2007 for a motorcycle show to complement Back to the Bricks, an automobile show held downtown in August since 2004.
The activites on Saturday, Sept. 6 began with hundreds of bikers meeting at Vehicle City Harley-Davidson for a police-escorted ride. The route took bikers up to Montrose before cruising back to downtown Flint.
