Taylor Townsend arrived at the US Open press conference with a "Honey Deuce" cocktail after losing the tournament final, alongside her partner Katerina Siniakova. The American was in good spirits despite the defeat in the Flushing Meadows final. The world No. 1 doubles pair fell in the final to the third seeds, Erin Routliffe and Gabriela Dabrowski.

Townsend and Siniakova had a great run in the tournament and were seeking their third joint title—after being crowned champions at Wimbledon 2024 and the Australian Open 2025. However, they couldn't replicate what they had done throughout the tournament, and they ended up empty-handed against another of the best pairs in the world, losing 6-4, 6-4.
