SILVER LAKE, Ohio-- Silver Lake is hosting some high-flying K9s this week as the 7th Annual K9 Frisbee Toss & Fetch Worldwide Championship takes place.

Silver Lake is home to the Northeast Ohio Regional Championship portion of the competition.

The worldwide championship features more than 1,500 competitors across 40 regional locations spanning the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Europe during its week-long competition that runs through Sept. 13.

More than 40 local teams will showcase their skills at the Silver Lake event, where scores will be compared against competitors worldwide to determine the global champions, which will be announced on the league’s Facebook page.
