The Vancouver Rise FC continued its undefeated streak Saturday with its win over the Calgary Wild FC.
The Rise FC defeated the Wild FC 6-0 at home in Swangard Stadium in Burnaby.
Saturday’s win keeps Rise FC in second place with 32 points in the Northern Super League. AFC Toronto is in first place with 38 points.
The Rise FC held possession 62 per cent of the match and took 24 shots, eight of which were on goal, while the Wild FC took 11 shots, five of which were on goal.
Rise FC's Latifah Abdu scored her first two goals during the 15th and 53rd minutes during her debut match with the team. She previously played for the Montréal Roses FC before she was transferred to the Rise FC.
