AUBURN, Ala. (AP) — Jackson Arnold threw for 251 yards and three touchdowns, Jeremiah Cobb ran for 121 yards and two scores and Auburn overwhelmed Ball State 42-3 on Saturday night.
The Tigers (2-0) finished with 271 yards passing and 224 yards rushing.
“I’m super appreciative of Coach (Hugh) Freeze bringing me in here and believing in me when other people wouldn’t,” said Arnold, who transferred to Auburn after two years at Oklahoma. “He trusted me, handed me the keys to this offense and allowed me to have a full offseason to build chemistry with this team.”
