TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) —The 6th annual Latino fest was held at Twin Falls City Park to celebrate Hispanic heritage on Saturday.
A new mariachi band here in the Magic Valley were playing songs for the public to hear for an early kickoff to Hispanic heritage month.
However, that’s not the only event that went on at the festival. Other musicians took the stage, as well as some Balet folk dancers.
Vendors lined the sidewalks as well, selling items, with Hispanic themed food trucks on the road.
“we have over 50% Hispanic population here in the eight-county area surrounding the Magic Valley,” said Benjamin Reed, Coordinator of Latino Fest. “And it’s just a fun opportunity for people to share their roots with new generations.”
