TOLEDO, Ohio -- Chip Trayanum rushed for a career-high 163 yards and two touchdowns, Junior Vandeross III caught five passes for 122 yards and a score, and Toledo took down Western Kentucky 45-21 on Saturday night. Trayanum, a Kentucky transfer, eclipsed 100 rushing yards for just the second time in his six-year collegiate career and first time since 2020 against UCLA while at Arizona. Kenji Christian, a transfer from North Carolina A & T, added 91 rushing yards on 15 carries. Toledo had 307 yards on the ground.
